Elder Hendrixson's Mission: Baptisms

BAPTISM #5 BELOW

Alright so we had another baptism and her name is Jessyka and her sister and her mother have been baptised just recently. She really made a huge turn around after having a life of not living in the gospel. She has taken out all of her piercings and lost her boyfriend, lost a lot of friends, but she doesnt even really consider it a sacrafice because she knows the gospel is true and she wants to serve a mission really bad and she is already 20 so she can go in a year from now and she wants to prepare to go and be vigilant. This girl has some serious self control and conviction, it has been a really neet experience.

BAPTISM #4 BELOW

Alright so we had another baptism!! :) Yeah so her name is Cila and she was a total party and wild person but then she started reading the BOM and well she couldnt stop. She had practically read half of it before we even were able to teach the 1st lesson. She is really nice and loves her family a lot and her daughter (youngest) was baptised and was the example for her family. Due to work complications the older daughter will be baptised this coming week and ya they have a brother but he is going to take a whole lot more work but he will be baptised!!

BAPTISM #3 BELOW

Alrighty so here is Baptism #3 she is the mother of one of the members of our ward. all of her kids are members for 23 years and not until recently did she exept the gospel. She has read both the BOM and DC!! Needless to say she was a piece of cake to teach!

Her name is Cleuza and she is an amazing cook!!. I mean it takes me days to recover after scarfing this womans rice and beans and then she always brings out a huge pave that is irresistable!!!! I usually eat like half of a 9x13 alone!!! :) Along with three heaping plates! Needlesss to say I have learned how to stabilize my weight for a little while . . . but she has a health problem where she feels a ton of pain all day long and it is really sad but she always makes times to see us and come to church. Her son in law baptized her and her other son in law confirmed her in the same day because we had permission by the bishop because all of her family was there that day and she asked me to be part of the three who confirmed her and it was really great!!!

The work is going here and we should have some more baptisms coming. :)

BAPTISM #2 BELOW

"Alright so her name is Dominyk and she is 17 years old and is the girlfriend of one of our less actives that has returned because of her and wants to serve and mission and so does she. She really is one of the elect and will be a strong member and it is awesome! Her whole entire family is being prepared because of her and she really is being the best example!! I will write more next week! this week has been crazy! sorry everyone for not writing more!"
